Your inputs — salary, state, filing status, tax year, pay frequency — and the figure you expected. That's usually enough to reproduce it.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up, no email required, and nothing to log into.
Does it work without a connection?
Always. The app makes no network requests at all, and every tax bracket is bundled inside the download.
How do I delete my data?
Settings → Clear all saved data wipes everything. Deleting the app does the same thing.
Which states are supported?
All fifty plus DC, including the nine with no state income tax. State tax is applied as a simplified flat rate.
Is it really free?
All five tools in version 1.0 are free, with no ads and no tracking.
Where's the privacy policy?
On its own page. The short version: nothing is collected, and nothing leaves your device.
